Was studying Architecture stressful? or would you say it was equivalent to the stress other students have? I also know college is never cheap... were you able to have a job while you studied, or did the load of studying architecture outweigh any possibility of being able to maintain a job?
Yes its stressful. Yes, it is probably as stressful as other career studies but one thing does not negate the other.
Yes I had a part time job (20 hrs a week) with a load of 18 credits per semester. I also worked full-time summer and winter breaks to make ends meet.
Again, this is not everyone’s experience and not everyone can juggle work and study, and I am not saying one is being a better person than another (unless you are a true juggler and then more its better!), its just the only path that was open to me. It would have been easier not to work during the semester but hindsight is 20 20.
